HOW DOES IT WORK?

The course is hosted by underwater photo pro, Ran Mor.

In this 2-day workshop, we can dive deeper into more advanced settings and experience more of Cozumel’s beautiful dive sites.

You will learn how to get the best results possible using your own gear, utilize lighting, and capture the right moment with various subjects.

We will do 4 dives during the course - 2 from a boat and 2 from shore.

We will have 2 classroom sessions, and photo reviews each day.

Small group - up to 5 participants.

Ran will be available for additional questions after the course when you go on your next dives.

The group participants will be added to a dedicated Facebook group, where you can also post photos for review and ask questions.

All levels are welcome! The course is perfect for beginners as well as more experienced photographers.

Best lenses to use for DSLR / Mirrorless shooters and all about wet lenses for compact shooters.
MARINE LIFE BEHAVIOUR
Know your subject and anticipate the shot. How to approach various subjects to get the best shot.
COMMON MISTAKES
Analyzing your shots, how to detect various common mistakes and how to correct them during the dive.
POST PROCESSING
Editing your images to get the most out of them (Mostly using Adobe Lightroom).
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR - RAN MOR
Ran is an ocean lover, explorer, world traveler, entrepreneur, divemaster, professional underwater photographer and a web expert, who loves to teach and share his experience with others.

Ran has been leading underwater photography expeditions around the world for the past 6 years and has recently founded the Cozumel Underwater Photography School. ​

Thanks to his experience at Mozaik Underwater Cameras, a leading retailer for underwater photography gear, Ran is always up to date with almost every existing camera, housing, strobe, or accessory in the market and has personally tested a lot of gear. This accumulated knowledge is invaluable when assisting other aspiring photographers and teaching them about their own gear.

What is this course all about?
The first day includes an in-depth theory lesson, in which you will learn about proper camera settings, underwater lighting, filters, lenses, shooting techniques, and more.
We will dive twice from the shore, with one dive dedicated for wide-angle shots and the 2nd dive for macro photography, where you can practice everything you’ve learned.
We will end the day with a lesson about composition and marine life behavior.
The second day includes 2 dives from a boat on one of the beautiful dive sites on the western side of Cozumel. On these dives you can practice wide-angle and macro photography, with the help of your instructor who will be at your side at all times, giving tips, correcting your lighting and settings as needed and making sure you spot the coolest subjects.
After we return to the shop, we will discuss post-processing and edit the photos from the last couple of days.
